For the longest time in my life June has meant basketball. Growing up it was week after week of Jerry Hueser’s Kearney State Basketball Camp. Those memories are fond because it was a family affair. Today, here at Papio South, it’s also about family: The Titan Family. I spent more time with these coaches pictured above than with my own wife (Sorry Lisa) this past month. And yes, that’s a sobering thought lol, but all the more reason why I am so thankful for being surrounded by the best! Those coaches (and their families) sacrifice so much for South Titan Basketball. There was not a day that went by where a deposit was not being made into our players by each one of them. Skill sets improved, life lessons taught and friendships made. I am very blessed to work alongside such great men, and there is not a day that goes by that I take this for granted.
