We teach and believe in “The Pack Line Defense”. This style of defense can defeat teams that have an athletic advantage over us, therefore, allowing us to compete with the best of the best. Our primary goal is to make it very difficult for teams to penetrate, and force the offense into long, contested shots. The Pack is truly a “team” defense that relies on everyone working together. It is as if all five defenders are all tied to a rope and every time the ball moves, all five defenders move at the air speed of the ball. We want to pressure the ball and protect the paint. Each defender is responsible for their man and half the ball.
