This past Saturday was our annual "Hangin' with the Titans" and it did not disappoint. The afternoon began as the 8th graders were invited to join the Varsity for pre-game. They were granted all-access with the Titans as they prepared for their contest versus Elkhorn South. Coach Cooley emphasized the importance of "knowing your opponent and their game". Next, all of the Jr. Titans were able to cheer the Titans on to victory versus Elkhorn South.
After the game, the South Titan Basketball players and coaches instructed skills and drills, played games, ate pizza, and listened to Team Captains Graham Cassoutt and Jared Mattley share about The Titan Way. And if that wasn't enough, the night was capped off with a highly competitive dunk contest DJ'd by Kendell Wickwire.
We hope to see all of you back this summer for our South Titan Basketball Camp: May 26-28 (grades 9-12) or June 8-11 (grades 3-8). We can't thank all of the Jr. Titan Coaches enough, especially Ben Williams, for all of their hard work in making the Jr. Titans one of the best youth basketball organizations in the Metro.
