One of the more challenging balances in the game, and life, is playing through your mistakes. We are fans of acrostics to cue mental discipline. RALF is a great one! Recognize the mistake. Admit the mistake. Learn from the mistake. Flush the mistake. Due to the pace of basketball, processing these four steps happens in a very short period of time. In this Filmroom Project video we hear a great story from Coach Bob Mckillop about Steph Curry. He shares three strengths about Curry when confronted with adversity: 1) He never gets down. 2) He uses it as an opportunity. 3) He focuses on what he can control. This is great advice for all of us: players and coaches!
